After-School Teen Art Club at American Mural Project
An event every week that begins at 2:30 pm on Friday, repeating until May 22, 2026
A weekly creative hangout for teens runs Fridays from April 3 through May 22, 2026 from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm at the American Mural Project, 90 Whiting Street, Winsted, CT 06098.
After-School Teen Art Club offers a relaxed and supportive space for young artists to explore different materials and techniques while connecting with peers. Each session introduces a new medium or creative approach, encouraging participants to experiment, build skills, and develop their artistic voice.
Teens can bring ongoing projects or start something new, with opportunities for collaboration, conversation, and informal critique. The program is designed for both dedicated art students and those simply looking to try something creative in a welcoming environment.
The cost is $10 per session for materials, or $5 with an AMP Student Membership. Drop-ins are welcome.
