Adopt a Rescue Dog at Lyman Orchards

Animal lovers can meet their new four-legged companions at Adopt a Rescue Dog at Lyman Orchards in Middlefield, Connecticut. This special outdoor adoption event takes place on Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 12:00 to 2:00 pm in the parking lot behind the Apple Barrel Farm Market.

Visitors can meet adoptable dogs, learn about volunteering, fostering, and donating, and enjoy fresh coffee, lunch specials, and bakery treats available for purchase at the Apple Barrel Farm Market. Guests interested in adopting are encouraged to complete an adoption application in advance to begin the screening process at dogstarrescue.org.

The event will be held at Lyman Orchards, 70 Lyman Road, Middlefield, Connecticut. Admission is free, and all are welcome to stop by and find their future furry friend.
