Join the Ballard Institute and Museum of Puppetry for A Cornucopia Cabaret! by Emily Schubert, an enchanting puppet show that will captivate audiences of all ages. Taking place on Saturday, November 2, 2024, with performances at 11 am and 2 pm, this cabaret-style puppet performance offers a delightful mix of crankies, hand puppets, and even a show in a suitcase!
Get ready to embark on a whimsical journey through time and space, where you’ll meet a rogue cabbage, visit a secret laboratory, and encounter some unique animal friends.
The show also explores mystical realms, with lessons from a wise woman of old who encourages us to connect with nature and play our part in the world.
Emily Schubert, a Vermont-based puppeteer and storyteller, brings her vibrant talent to the stage.
Known for her work in festivals and performances across the U.S. and internationally, Emily invites audiences to step into her magical world for a truly unique experience.
Tickets are priced at $12 for adults, $10 for members and seniors, $8 for students, and $6 for children 12 and under.
Tickets can be purchased in advance online, by calling 860-486-8580, or at the Ballard Institute on the day of the performance starting at 10 a.m. Seating is open, and visitors can park in the Storrs Center Garage.
