9th Annual Sun Whiskey Union at Mohegan Sun

Whiskey enthusiasts can explore a world of bold flavors at the 9th Annual Sun Whiskey Union on Saturday, April 19, 2025, from 8 pm to 11 pm in the Earth Ballroom at Mohegan Sun. This immersive event offers guests the opportunity to sample a curated selection of top-shelf whiskeys, scotches, bourbons, and ryes while engaging with distillery representatives.

The evening will feature live music from Locals Live 2024 contestant Mad Hatter Band, along with delicious whiskey-inspired bites such as Maple Bourbon Pulled Chicken Sliders from House of BBQ & Bacon and decadent treats from NoRa Cupcake Company.

Attendees can visit the Mohegan Sun Online Casino Signature Cocktail Bar, featuring Phil Wills from Bar Rescue and Dimitrios “The Cocktail Chemist” Zahariadis. Those who download the Mohegan Sun Online Casino app and place a $5 wager on any game will have the chance to try one of four signature cocktails and enter to win a gift box from the Connecticut Distilling Company.

For those looking to enhance their experience, the event also includes a pre-show Spirits & Cigars pairing session from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Clay Pipe Cigar Bar. Guests will enjoy a selection of premium spirits from Mohegan Sun’s Limited Barrel Select Program, paired with a proprietary infused cigar. A la carte infused cigars will also be available for purchase.

Tickets are on sale now through Ticketmaster and the Mohegan Sun Box Office, subject to availability. Prices may increase on the day of the event. A portion of ticket sales will benefit the United Way of Southeastern Connecticut. Guests must be 21 or older to attend and must present a valid ID and ticket upon entry.
