60th West Indian Independence Celebrations at Bushnell Park

Meet us at Bushnell Park for the 60th West Indian Independence Celebration parade and concert on Saturday, August 13, 2022 from 3:00 pm to 8:30 pm

The event will kicks off at noon with a Caribbean carnival, street PARADE at the corner of North Main Street and Albany Avenue and proceed to Bushnell Park. In the park join us near the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Arch at our CARNIVAL VILLAGE (starting at 1 pm) where we will have presentations to our Grand Marshal’s and judging of the parade participants.

At 3 pm, make your way over to the Bushnell Park Pavilion Stage for a CONCERT featuring international known reggae and and soca artists. Shop our arts and crafts and food vendors on Trinity Street or visit our information booths from our sponsoring organizations. Bring your camera, empty bellies, sunscreen, lawn chair and the entire family for a day of Caribbean fun and entertainment.
