5th Annual Winter Festival at Woodstock

Celebrate the best of Woodstock at the 5th Annual Winter Festival, showcasing local businesses and organizations. Enjoy a day filled with shopping, family activities, and holiday spirit. Attendees can pick up a “passport” at any participating location and follow a map to explore the various stops. Collect stamps and be eligible for prize drawings at Roseland Park, concluding with a festive tree lighting ceremony.
Festival Highlights:
- 1-5 pm: Visit local businesses to get your passport stamped. Return your completed passport to Roseland Park Barn by 4:50 pm to receive prize drawing tickets.
- 5 pm: Prize Drawing at Roseland Park Barn.
- 5:15 pm: Wreath Raffle Drawing.
- 5:30 pm: Tree Lighting Ceremony by American Legion Benson-Flugel Post 111.
Participating Locations Include:
- West Woodstock Library (5 Bungay Hill Rd): Open house with refreshments, door prizes, and kids’ crafts.
- Cherry Ledge Farm & Minis Helping Many (11 Swenson Rd): Christmas Open Barn with mini horses and holiday shopping.
- Shops at Black Walnut Farm (218 Rt 169): Holiday gifts, cider, and donuts.
- The Arc of Eastern CT (22 Rt 171): Holiday deals, letter drop-off for Santa, and a cookie contest.
- Soleil Bakery (35 CT 171): Free cookie samples and gift card giveaway.
- South Woodstock Baptist Church (23 Roseland Park Rd): Cookies, cocoa, crafts, and a Christmas carol sing-along.
- Woodstock Orchards Bakery Barn (494 CT 179): Gift basket drawing and apple sampling.
- The Rusty Relic (599 Route 169): Live music.
- Woodstock Evangelical Covenant Church (24 Child Hill Rd): Carolers, warm drinks, chili, and a nativity petting zoo.
- The Senexet Grange (628 Route 169): Woodstock artisan gifts and card-making for nursing home residents.
- The Christmas Barn (835 Route 169): Gift basket and certificate drawing.
- Stargazer Farm (136 Woodstock Rd): Holiday photo opportunities with horses and kids’ stickers.
- Westview Farm (209 Prospect St): Decorate tractor ornaments and enjoy a holiday photo scene.
- Fairholm Farm (72 Chandler School Rd): Animal ornament-making for kids and adults.
- Farm to Table Market at Elm Farm (324 Woodstock Rd): Storytime with Santa, a toy drive, meet a calf, and Rose Room Food Truck.
- Woodstock Creamery at Valleyside Farm (210 Child Hill Rd): Photos with Santa, cocoa, cookies, and gourmet food truck.
Roseland Park Barn Activities:
- Wagon rides, refreshments, wreath raffle, prize drawing, tree lighting, and a carol sing-along.
- Children’s Storytime with author Curtis K. Corey at 3 pm.
