3rd Annual Golf Tournament at Birchwood Country Club

Westport Country Playhouse will host its 3rd Annual Golf Tournament at Birchwood Country Club in Westport on Monday, June 15, bringing together golfers, supporters, and community members for a day of recreation and fundraising in support of the historic theater.

The event will feature both 9-hole morning play and 18-hole afternoon rounds, along with the inaugural Mahjong and Canasta Tournament for non-golfers. Participants can enjoy breakfast, buffet lunch, cocktails, on-course beverages, and an afternoon reception while taking part in contests, raffles, and prize opportunities throughout the day.

The schedule begins with registration and practice access at 7:30 am, followed by the morning shotgun start for 9-hole players. Mahjong and Canasta tournaments begin at 9:30 am, lunch will be served at 12 pm, and afternoon 18-hole play begins afterward. The event concludes with an awards ceremony and cocktail reception.

Golf registration includes cart rental, access to club facilities, the driving range, and practice greens, along with opportunities to win prizes including Westport Country Playhouse season tickets and pro shop credit through contests such as Long Drive, Closest to the Pin, and Straightest Drive competitions.

Golf pricing ranges from $495 for individual 9-hole play to $2,350 for 18-hole foursomes, with discounted early bird and returning golfer rates available through May 15. Mahjong and Canasta tournament entry is $250 per player and includes meals, cocktails, and prize opportunities.

A variety of sponsorship opportunities are also available, ranging from title sponsorships to individual hole sponsorships and event support packages.
