2nd Free Brass City Jazz Fest at the Waterbury Library Park

The City of Waterbury’s Annual 2nd Brass City Jazz Fest will be held on July 6, 2019.

Waterbury is Up on Jazz!

FREE concert featuring Billboard Charting Contemporary Jazz Artists Marion Meadows, Adam Hawley, Marcus Anderson, Paula Atherton, Althea Rene, Jeanette Harris, Carol Albert, Sean Uliasz along with Connecticut’s own Steve Clarke Band, Ray Santovasi/Four Peace and Nekita Waller.

On Saturday, July 6, the City of Waterbury is presenting the 2nd Brass City Jazz Fest, which will take place on Grand Street in “Block Party Style” in front of the Silas Bronson Library and City Hall. This FREE premier music jazz festival features Billboard charting and local recording artists. The amazing 2019 artists are Billboard charting artists Marion Meadows, Adam Hawley, Marcus Anderson, Paula Atherton, Althea Rene, Jeanette Harris, Carol Albert, Sean Uliasz along with Connecticut’s own Steve Clarke Band, Ray Santovasi/Four Peace and Nekita Waller. Hosted by Al “DJ ACT” Taylor, ACT Jams Productions and host/producer of the syndicated radio show “The Groove” on SmoothJazzCD1019.com and SmoothJazzDC.com.

The Brass City Jazz Fest is a free family event from the afternoon until the evening. Bring your chairs, blankets and prepare for the weather (no coolers or tents allowed). There will be diverse food trucks, vendors and beverages. Artists autograph section will be available at the park. Stage, light and sound provided by Power Station. The park will open at 2:15 p.m.

Tickets are available at the Palace Theater (palacetheaterct.org) for the Fundraiser Throwback Dance Party at the with Palace Theater with DJs Jay Lang, Ken Reeder and Al Taylor on Friday, July 5.
