The 2019 Walktober – A Jaunt Along the Heritage Trail will be held on September 29th from 1 pm to 3 pm at Howard T. Brown Park in Norwich.
The Heritage Trail is a riverfront trail that runs along the Yantic River from historic Chelsea Harbor to Uncas Leap Heritage Park. Visit a beautiful natural resource, learn about plans to expand the trail and to create additional walking opportunities in the city.
The tour will begin in Howard T. Brown Park located at 100 Chelsea Harbor Drive in Norwich. This tour is 3 miles and can be strenuous at times. There are no restrooms available and leashed dogs are welcome.
