Connecticut Ballet presents: The Nutcracker at The Bushnell

A cherished holiday tradition returns to Hartford as Connecticut Ballet presents The Nutcracker on December 19 and 20, 2026, at The Bushnell.

The annual holiday production features guest stars from New York City Ballet and American Ballet Theatre, bringing the classic story to life with spectacular dancing and festive holiday spirit. The performances will include live accompaniment by the Hartford Symphony Orchestra, led by Music Director Carolyn Kuan.

Four performances are scheduled throughout the weekend, with shows on Saturday, December 19, at 2 pm and 6 pm, followed by performances on Sunday, December 20, at 1 pm and 5 pm. Each performance is followed by an opportunity for audiences to meet the performers in the theater lobby.
