Sister’s Christmas Catechism: The Mystery of the Magi’s Gold at The Bushnell

Holiday humor takes center stage when Sister’s Christmas Catechism: The Mystery of the Magi’s Gold comes to The Bushnell on November 28, 2026. Created by the author of the popular Late Nite Catechism series, this interactive comedy puts a festive twist on one of history’s most enduring mysteries: whatever happened to the Magi’s gold?

Combining storytelling, audience participation, and plenty of laughs, the production retells the Nativity story through Sister’s unique perspective. Part holiday celebration and part comedic investigation, the show transforms the familiar Christmas tale into a lighthearted mystery filled with surprises and memorable moments.

Audience members may find themselves becoming part of the action as Sister recruits volunteers for her Nativity scene, making every performance a little different. Guests are encouraged to bring their cameras, as unexpected cast members from the audience may be called upon to help bring the story to life.

Performances will take place at 2 pm and 7 pm on November 28 at the Autorino Great Hall, The Bushnell, 166 Capitol Avenue, Hartford, CT 06106. Tickets are $57.
