The Goodspeed presents a dazzling 50th anniversary production of A Chorus Line, making its long-awaited debut on the East Haddam stage. This Pulitzer Prize-winning musical reveals the hopes, dreams, and struggles of 17 dancers competing for a place in a Broadway chorus. With unforgettable music by Marvin Hamlisch, lyrics by Edward Kleban, and groundbreaking choreography originally conceived by Michael Bennett, the show captures the heart and passion of performers putting everything on the line for their craft.
Directed by Rob Ruggiero, with choreography by Parker Esse and music direction by Adam Souza, this milestone production honors the legacy of the original while bringing fresh energy to a timeless story.
Performances run from September 5 through October 26, 2025. The show runs approximately 2 hours without intermission and is recommended for ages 13 and up.
