Goshen Players invites you to enjoy Disaster!, a 70s-inspired disaster movie musical filled with humor and unforgettable chart-topping songs like “Knock on Wood,” “Hooked on a Feeling,” “Sky High,” “I Am Woman,” and “Hot Stuff.” Written by Seth Rudetsky and Jack Plotnick, this musical comedy is a tribute to 1970s disaster movies such as The Poseidon Adventure and Airport 1975.
Set in 1979 Manhattan on the opening night of the Barracuda, New York’s first floating casino and discothèque, the story follows a group of characters as they encounter a series of natural disasters and struggle to survive. Will they escape the night and perhaps rekindle lost love—or at least avoid the killer rats?
