The Eversource Hartford Marathon, Half Marathon, Relay & Charity 5K is Connecticut’s premier fall running event, returning on a new weekend in 2024.
Set for the third Saturday of October, this year’s event is a full celebration of community, fitness, and New England charm.
The marathon and half marathon courses are designed to inspire, starting in front of the iconic Capitol and winding through the welcoming neighborhoods of West Hartford.
Marathon runners will experience the scenic views along the East Hartford riverfront and the serene roads of South Windsor, while half marathoners will enjoy a scenic route along the river, culminating in a spectacular finish under the Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Arch in Bushnell Park.
For those looking for a shorter but equally exciting experience, the Charity 5K will run through downtown Hartford, offering a fast-paced race that’s perfect for both competitive runners and casual participants.
Teams can join in on the fun with the Team 26.2 Relay, allowing groups of 2-5 members to conquer the marathon course together.
