The holiday season brings gift giving, festive parties and of course, kids on winter break. Hollywood releases a massive amount of films in hopes of qualifying for next year’s Oscars and the holidays are the best time to see some of these amazing movies. There’s no need to wait for summer blockbusters when great movies are in theaters now.
There is plenty of downtime after the big Christmas rush is over after catching up with relatives, attending holiday parties and unwrapping presents. Going to the movie theater is a wonderful way to extend the holiday season. So, bundle up and check out our holiday movie list. It’s time to hit the theaters! Bumblebee

Mary Poppins
More than 50 years later, this film takes place during the 1930s depression-era. When Michael experiences a personal loss, Mary Poppins re-enters his life and uses her unique magical talents to help the Banks family rediscover the wonder and happiness that has gone missing in their lives.
Welcome to Marwen
Based on a true story, in this imaginative movie, Mark Hogancamp loses his memory after a devastating attack that no one expects him to recover from. He puts together pieces from his past and present and builds a fantasy town where the dolls come to life. Through this fictional world, he finds the strength to thrive in the real world.
Ralph Breaks the Internet
The amusing sequel to Disney’s Wreck-It Ralph tells the story of a strong friendship of video game characters and best friends, video game bad guy, Ralph, and pint-sized friend, Vanellope. Ralph attempts to help Vanellope save her game, Sugar Rush, and their journey takes them into the enormous, unfamiliar internet world where they encounter a group of Disney princesses. Aquaman
This action-packed DC Comics adventure movie spans across the spectacular underwater world of the seven seas. Born half-human and half-Atlantean, Arthur Curry is the king of Atlantis. Holmes and Watson
The legendary detective Sherlock Holmes joins forces with his partner, Doctor Watson, to investigate a murder at Buckingham Palace. They discover that they only have four days to solve this case, or the queen will be the next victim.
Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald
At the end of the first film, wizard Grindelwald was captured by the Magical Congress of the United States of America (MACUSA). Grindelwald escaped custody and has started gathering followers with plans to raise pure-blood wizards up to rule over all non-magical beings. In an attempt to stop Grindelwald’s plans, Albus joins forces with his former student, Newt, who is not aware of the dangers ahead. Lines are drawn and loyalty and love are tested among family and friends in a divided world of wizardry.
