The D.E.W. and a Brew Tour is a multi-city tour throughout the United States with the goal of acquainting people to the pairing of an Irish whiskey with a well crafted brew.
The tour is the combined work of Tullamore D.E.W. Irish Whiskey and Time Out North America. They want to let individuals experience how different beers complement the malty and sweet flavors of its whiskey, Tullamore D.E.W. Tullamore, the second largest Irish whiskey producer in the world and Time Out: “the trusted global brand for inspiring and enabling people to make the most of their city, teamed with a group of independent breweries across the country to bring you the D.E.W. and a Brew tour.
The tour, led by Tullamore D.E.W. Brand Ambassador Jane Maher, includes special brewery collaborations, bartender education and Tullamore D.E.W. promotions with local beer partners at participating bars and retailers across the country. She has been traveling the United States for the last few weeks stopping at some of the nation’s best independent breweries to celebrate the Irish tradition of a “pint and a drop.
As Jane is moving into the Northeast with her 26 stops, join her at Outer Light Brewery in Groton, CT on March 3rd. Tyler Cox, Outer Light’s head brewer, and Jane will introduce to you a malty and sweet pairing of Tullamore D.E.W. and an Outer Light craft beer.

The history of the “Pint and a drop”, or boilermaker if you prefer, dates back centuries in Ireland, believe to have started when the monks began distilling whiskey alongside their beer. Join up with one the stops to learn about these two malt cousins and how a D.E.W. and a Brew can unlock the best flavors in both beverages.
