If you love food and drink, join other foodies at the 6th annual First Town Downtown (FTDT) Taste of Windsor on Saturday, March 5th from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm in Loomis Chaffee’s Dining Hall in Windsor. The evening will be filled with a wide variety of appetizers and main dish samplings donated by Windsor’s own unique restaurants, which include Bart’s Beanery, Bear’s Smokehouse, Concorde’s Restaurant, Dom’s Broad Street Eatery, Get Baked, Izote Southwest Grill, Jim’s Pizza, Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt, Moneta Moments, The Bean @226, Union Street Tavern, Windsor Asian Bistro and more.
You’ll also enjoy a wine tasting by Bert’s Spirit Shoppe of Windsor Locks, beer tastings by Back East Brewing of Bloomfield and Broad Brook Brewery of East Windsor. There will also be an auction where you can browse the donated items and get a great deal on some highly sought-after gift certificates and other prizes. Back by popular demand is Windsor’s favorite singing duo The Fence Incident who will be providing music throughout the night!
You will also have a chance to win a diamond necklace valued at $650 donated by Bill Selig Jewelers. To qualify, just buy a FTDT wine glass and you’ll get the pretty engraved wine glass, a glass of wine, and a chance to win the diamond necklace, all for $25.
Tickets are $40 in advance. Get them early as we sold out in years past. If you are a Windsor restauranteur and haven’t yet signed up to participate, email firstname.lastname@example.org to sign up.
