Anita Lyons, Soprano, is quickly creating a niche for herself in the dramatic repertoire, most recently performing the title role of La Gioconda and the Primadonna/Ariadne (Ariadne auf Naxos), both performed at Lincoln Center with New York Opera Forum. She has also been seen this season with the Central Jersey Symphony Orchestra singing the Strauss Vier letzte Lieder, with Boheme Opera NJ in a program of the music of Richard Wagner, and with the Riverside Opera Company as a soloist on their gala orchestra concert at Snug Harbor on Staten Island.

Opera Singers Initiative (OSI) is committed to providing classical singers with the critical skills and support they need to build a sustainable and successful career in the arts. They provide career development, mentoring, and performance opportunities for emerging professional classical singers.
The Institute provides hand-selected opera singers with career development (marketing, finance, fundraising, performance preparation, agent review, industry showcase), performance opportunities, mentoring and career consultation with arts and business professionals. It provides a 12-month New York City OSI Vocal Institute and two-week OSI Vocal Institute Summer Intensive as a part of our comprehensive Institute.
