Beginning this month, Guest Chef Paul Liebrandt will begin hosting special events at the Foxwoods Resort and Casino restaurant, David Burke Prime.
The Guest Chef In Residence series at David Burke Prime provides guest a unique opportunity to taste the cuisine of Chef Paul Liebrandt, subject of the Emmy nominated and James Beard Award-winning HBO documentary “A Matter of Taste.” During Liebrandt’s post as Chef/Owner of fine-dining Corton in New York City the restaurant received two Michelin stars, three stars from the New York Times, and inclusion on Esquire Magazine’s Best New Restaurants list.
The cocktail and tasting event on Thursday, October 19 features a carefully crafted food menu by Chef Liebrandt along with thoughtful selections from renowned New York City mixologist Johnny Swet, known for his bars JIMMY at the James, Skylark, and others.

Squirrel Bait: Templeton Rye, Nocello Walnut Liquor, Orange Bitters, Angostura Bitters, Luxardo Cherry, Orange Twist
Back To Black: Nolet’s Gin, Campari, Carpano Antica, Activated Charcoal, Dragon Fruit
Japanese Paloma: Casa Dragones Silver Tequila, Yuzu, Grapefruit Juice, Lime Juice, Agave Nectar, Muddled Shisho, Soda
The Smoking Gun: Oban 16 Year Scotch, Montenegro Amaro, Honey Syrup, Barrel Aged Whiskey Bitters, Lemon, Lemon Twist
In December, Chef Liebrandt will host an intimate four-course winter truffle-themed dinner, highlighting black winter truffles from Provence and white truffles from Bologna, considered some of the best in the world. Additional events in the works include a Japanese Wagyu-themed dinner in collaboration with David Burke Prime Executive Chef Pedro Avila as well as a wine-paired cooking class with Chef Liebrandt, spotlighting his artistic, elegant style of cuisine.
