Learn to identify sugar maples and how to tap them to make maple syrup at the Plymouth Maple Festival. Kids (and grown-ups!) will get a chance to drill the holes, tap in the spouts, and hang the buckets. Throughout the day, watch maple sap being boiled on an outdoor fire. Sample sugar on snow and maple sugar candy, a New England tradition! Enter the historical scavenger hunt on the Green and earn a sweet surprise! Come hungry and have maple baked beans and maple ham for lunch while listening to live acoustic music in the Church Fellowship Hall. CT grown maple products such as maple syrup and maple sugar candy will also be available for purchase. Have some good old-fashioned fun on the beautiful Plymouth Green! Bring the family!
