New Haven (www.infonewhaven.com) is gearing up to host its annual and free concert series, Music On The Green, presented by the Yale-New Haven Hospital. The two-weekend celebration will take place Saturday, July 23rd and Saturday July 30th, with performances by the legendary R&B “funky divas” En Vogue and the original princess of pop, music icon Debbie Gibson, respectively.
“Music on the Green has become a summertime tradition in New Haven, attracting enthusiastic crowds from throughout the region,” said Mayor Toni N. Harp. “This free concert series allows residents and visitors alike to experience all the city has to offer – exceptional food, great shopping, and celebrated culture while enjoying free performances by nationally recognized acts.”
Both concerts will take place on the CT Style Stage on the historic New Haven Green, offering guests the chance to soak up the city’s culture and New England charm while enjoying the live entertainment. Area food trucks will also be on site for concertgoers to enjoy.
We are thrilled CT Style will be a part of this year’s Music on the Green series,” said Mark Higgins General Manger and VP of WTNH News 8. ”As the New Haven station we believe strongly in events that bring our community together for unique and fun experiences.”
