Foxwoods Resort and Casino will be holding their first annual “Restaurant Month” starting September 8th and continuing until September 30th of this year. Each participation restaurant, ranging from fine to causal dining, within Foxwoods will be offering a $35 prix fixe menu.

- Golden Dragon
- High Rollers
- Red Lantern
- Scorpion Bar
- Veranda Café
David Burke, Scorpion Bar, Red Lantern, High Rollers, Cedars, Veranda Cafe, and the Golden Dragon specials will be available everyday of the week. Paragon specials will only be available Thursday through Sunday. Whereas Al Dente specials are available Wednesday through Sunday.
The prix fixe menu will include an appetizer, entree, and dessert. A couple restaurants, such as Gold Dragon and Veranda Cafe will be offering one or two additional courses with the prix fixe menu.

Choice of 1st Course: Grilled Flatbread, Prosciutto, Fig Puree, Gorgonzola, Arugula
Misto Salad: Mixed Greens, Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Olives, Red Onion, Gorgonzola, Balsamic Vinaigrette
Choice of Entree: Parmigiano Risotto made with Arborio Rice, Broccoli Rabe, Cifelli’s Sweet Italian Sausage, Pomodoro
Salmonata: Roasted Atlantic Salmon, Garlic Sautéed Greens, Sheep’s Milk Ricotta Gnocchi, Sweet & Sour Lemon
Dessert: Pistachio Cherry Torta with Lime Cream and Hazelnuts
Choice of First Course: Tobacco Road Farm Spinach Salad with Beltane Farm Chèvre, Apples, Warm Bacon Vinaigrette, Lobster Bisque
Choice of Entree: Amish Hen with Pan Gravy, Non-GMO Hominy, Cut Corn, Green Onion; Gulf of Maine Cod with Bean Tips, Ginger Fried Rice, Black Vinegar
Dessert: Chocolate Pot de Crème
First Course: Veranda’s Famous Turkey Noodle Soup
Second Course: Vegetable Spring Rolls with Sweet Chili Sauce
Third Course: Garden Salad
Choice of Entree: Slow Cooked Pot Roast with Mashed Potatoes, Roasted Vegetables, Pan Gravy; New England Battered Fresh Cod, French Fries, Coleslaw & Tartar Sauce; Sautéed Breast of Chicken, Bowtie Pasta, Broccoli, Creamy Alfredo & Garlic Bread
Dessert: Double Fudge Chocolate Cake topped with Whipped Cream & Caramel Sauce
Foxwoods invited us to an exclusive tasting kicking off the restaurant month, where each participating restaurant was on hand offering samples from a portion of their restaurant month menu. With so much being offered, we were unable to sample everything presented to us. Of those we did sample, are favorites were the Lobster Bisque and Amish Hen from Paragon, Prime Rib from Cedars, and Grilled Flatbread from Al Dente. If we had a few more hours, we may have been able to sample everything and find some more favorites.
