Prepare for a hair-raising Halloween happening at Stepping Stones Museum for Children’s annual not-so-scary Monster Mash. Come dressed in your costume to have a monstrously good time meandering through a Halloween maze, playing Monster Games, making boo-tiful crafts and meeting live creepy creatures at the “Spooktacular Animal Adventure” presented by Animal Embassy. The exotic animal rescue and adoption group will enable children to come face-to-face with a tarantula, boa constrictor and more! Registration is required. Space is limited.

On select dates in December, Santa Claus will join The Maritime Aquarium’s dive team to demonstrate that sharks aren’t the blood-thirsty killers of myth. Santa will strap on scuba gear and enter the Aquarium’s 110,000-gallon “Ocean Beyond the Sound” exhibit, which is home to 7-foot sharks.
