Dinner will be served Family Style and will include: Pasta with meatballs and sausage, salad, bread, dessert and beverage (water and soda). Cash bar.
Guest speaker is Carl Higbie – Chief of External Affairs at the Corp. for National and Community Service
Carl grew up in southwestern Connecticut and attended Sacred Heart University. In 2003, he left college and enlisted to become a US Navy SEAL. He completed two combat deployments to Iraq, in 2007 and 2009, and then returned to take a senior training position for his remaining three years of Navy SEAL service. Carl serves on the advisory board of Heartbeat for Warriors, which provides emergency assistance, therapeutic services, and morale-building programs for wounded service members; and on the board of Heroes to Heroes Foundation, which provides spiritual healing, suicide prevention, and peer support for veterans.
