Thrillz High Flying Adventure Park Grand Opening (Danbury)

Thrillz High Flying Adventure Park will host Grand Opening on September 8th from 11:00am to 11:00pm, with half price admission from 12:00pm to. 2:00pm. The world’s only air bag entertainment venue is located right here in Danbury but not for long, owners Rob and Lisa Cannon plan to launch Thrillz globally. The one-of-a -kind action packed adventure park showcases 25,000 square feet of wall to wall ninja style challenges. Thrill seekers launch themselves, harness free, over eight themed airbags including Pinball, Outer Space, Volcano, Shark Tank, fire Pit, Earth and two optical illusion bags.

Located at 5 Prindle Lane, off I84, Thrillz features over thirty activities and challenges – ten and eight feet drops onto 8 airbags: 4 climbing walls, 3 zip lines, 4 climbing walls, mini trampolines, ramps, rope swings, a horizontal ladder and cargo nets, to name just a few. In between leaps, thrillz seekers can play “The Next Generation’s Laser Tag” or test their skills in Western Connecticut’s largest prize arcade complete with a first of its kind 360-degree virtual reality ride that spins rider’s upside down while parents enjoy a snack at the café. For those planning the ultimate party, Thrillz features three spacious party rooms with contemporary themes — Future City, The Big Wave and Roller Coaster rooms.

Performers from NYC’s famed circus school, The Muse, have tested out the facility. A team of ten performers, both students and teachers many with ties to Cirque du Soleil, spent the day climbing, leaping, swinging and jumping. Says school founder, Angela Buccinni, “As a team building experience…it was terrific. All the challenges were new and difficult and had everyone cheering on their teammates.”
