Romantic Willimantic Annual Chocolate Festival

The Romantic Willimantic Chocolate Festival will be held on Saturday, February 8th, 2020 from 8:30 am to 3 pm.

Look for the following special events:

8:30am: Cupid Made Me Do It: Urban Scramble! Head to cupidmademerun.com for more information about this two-mile race over the four bridges of Willimantic.

9am: Let Them Eat Cake! Baking Competition hosted by the Kerri Art Studio and Gallery and organized by Ruth R. Hartunian-Alumbaugh. Fire up your ovens and get baking! No matter your age or ability, you are invited to bake your favorite chocolate cake for the 15th annual chocolate cake baking contest!

11-3: Chocolate Chip Stroll of Willimantic Downtown! Come explore downtown one chocolatey bite at a time. Many downtown merchants will be offering chocolate samples, special menu items, and special events! Stay tuned for a list of participating merchants. (*times vary, see merchant)

ALL DAY Romantic Willimantic themed window decorating contest produced in partnership with Windham Recreation. Several area merchants have decorated their windows just for Chocolate Fest! Stroll by and let us know which one you like best!

Bring your family and friends and hit the streets to sample chocolates in various forms and visit many of Willimantic Downtown’s merchants!
