The 2018 Connecticut Open – New Haven

The Connecticut Open is taking place at the Connecticut Tennis Center at Yale in New Haven, CT from August 17-25, 2018.

Watch the best players in women’s professional tennis compete in the final event before the U.S. Open. See Petra Kvitova, Julia Goerges, Daria Gavrilova and others face off. Kids Day on Sunday, music and more.

The 2018 Connecticut Open will feature an exciting festival of week-long events and activities as it showcases the best food from the city of New Haven and around the State. Enjoy the best of local food trucks with choices like gourmet grilled cheese, pizza and baked potatoes.  For your convenience, picnic tables with umbrellas are located in the food court and other areas of the site.

The Connecticut Open is a professional tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts. It is a WTA Premier Tournament on the WTA Tour. Until 2010 the tournament was part of the ATP World Tour 250 series of the ATP Tour. The Connecticut Open is owned by the State of Connecticut and is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 charitable organization that leverages the excitement of world-class women’s tennis to benefit the community and maximize support for women’s, youth and Military causes in Connecticut.
