Mystic Aquarium Summer Nights Presents Secret Garden Night. Dive in to summer nights at Mystic Aquarium! Throughout the month of August, we’re treating you to a special line up of themed after-hour events during Summer Nights.
Plants and flowers are not only pretty to look at, but they also benefit our environment in remarkable ways. Tour the Aquarium’s 10 acres of land to take in the beautiful landscape while exploring how it helps to filter the elements, attract butterflies or even repel mosquitos. Chat with local experts to discover how you can become a “certified” green thumb.
URI’s Master Gardener explores the power of pollinator plants and shares gardening tips on how to attract pollinators to your outside oasis. Learn which plants, flowers and vegetation attract honey bees from owner of Sticky Situations in the Olde Mistic Village. The MBar in downtown Mystic shares a list of the area’s edible flowers that they mix in to some of their specialty cocktails. An area family known as “The 3 Foragers” share their tales of exploring Southeastern CT for wild plants that are sustainable sources of food
Plus, visit with Kela, Juno and the seals and sea lions outside, explore indoor exhibits and encounter dinosaurs that practically come to life – all at a discounted rate!
Tickets can be purchased in-person night of event starting at 6pm.

Please note: Not all exhibits will be open for Summer Nights. Guests can enjoy Arctic Coast, Pacific Northwest, Jurassic Giants: A Dinosaur Adventure, frogs! and our Main Gallery. 4-D Theater is free for Aquarium members; $6 tickets available for guests.
