Raise Your Glass and Smile…Ridgefield’s Nod Hill Brewery will Open Its Doors on October 28th
Nod Hill Brewery, Ridgefield’s first craft brewery, will officially open for business and toasting on Saturday, October 28th from 12pm to 9pm. The brewery will be serving 7 different beers in full pours, flights, and growlers to go. “It has been well over a year in the making for us, so we are beyond thrilled to finally open our doors and see our dream come to fruition,” said co-owner David Kaye.
A creatively designed menu of brews will include a pale ale, IPA, double IPA, Porter and Trappist-inspired single and double ales. There will also be a gravity cask of coffee porter. On site, Ridgefield’s famed Hoodoo Brown will offer authentic Texas barbecue for sale from 1pm-6pm
With an old-school building design combined with the cozy pub-like atmosphere of the taproom, the brewery is set to be a welcoming space for friends and family alike. Added Kaye, “Our guiding principles have been to make the kind of beer we love to drink and hold our brewing process to the highest standards. We are excited to bring something fresh, unique, and fun to our community.”
Nod Hill will also be open Sunday, the 29th from 12pm to 5pm. Following the opening weekend, regular hours will be Thursday from 4pm-8pm, Friday 12pm-8pm, Saturday 12pm-9pm and Sunday 12pm-5pm. The brewery is located at 137 Ethan Allen Hwy (Rt 7) in Ridgefield, about 1/4 mile north of the Branchville train station. More info can be found at nodhillbrewery.com, or by calling 203-617-1191.
