Middletown Penguin Plunge

For the third straight year, a brave team from Jonathan Perkins Injury Lawyers will take the icy plunge to benefit the Special Olympics nonprofit organization on Saturday, March 2nd at the Pavilion of Crystal Lake, 144 Prout Hill Road in Middletown. Registration runs from 10-11:30 am with the Penguin Plunge happening at noon.

Penguin Plunge is one of the largest grassroots fundraisers to benefit Special Olympics Connecticut.  Plungers raise funds to Plunge into the chilly waters of Connecticut.  Your participation provides funding to support over 12,000 athletes and unified partners who participate in Special Olympics Connecticut’s year-round training and competition in 26 sports.

Administrative Assistant Krissy Mikucki is the Chairperson working directly with Special Olympics for the Middletown Penguin Plunge, as well as a member of the Polish Falcons club. Please come out and cheer on the whole team: Steph Hardwick, Tammy Manyon, and Shannon Perry from the Waterbury office, Shawn Von Briesen from Hartford, Jessica Martinez from Bridgeport and from the Woodbridge office Krissy Mikucki, Candace Stanley, Tori Kowarik, Danielle Lucisano and Connor Lynch.

This is one of many charitable community initiatives sponsored by Jonathan Perkins Injury Lawyers. In December, all of the offices collected hundreds of pounds of food for the Connecticut Food Bank. The practice has also supported the Greater Hartford Latino Fest and Wounded Warrior Project.
