Harvest Day at The Dudley Farm Museum Guilford

The Dudley Farm will host their Harvest Day on October 20th. The day will be filled with activities for the entire family including an area dedicated to children’s activities with the ever popular corn sand box, pumpkin painting, the bean bag toss, and hoop the pumpkin, along with face painting.
This free event includes demonstrations of early 19th Century skills, crafts & games for children, food, music and a special October Market. The Rain Date is October 27.
The Farmers’ Market features seasonal produce, mums & cut flowers, eggs, baked & canned goods, naturally-raised meats, honey & maple syrup, pickles and jams & jellies. Our handmade art and crafts include jewelry, soap, woodworking, pottery, baskets & beeswax candles, handspun yarn, paintings, photographs & cards, fiber art & accessories, mosaics and hand-painted glassware. In addition, Market vendors will present demonstrations on spinning and soap making and a talk on beekeeping. The Summer Market continues every Saturday, 9 AM to 12:30 PM, through October and will end the season on October 29 with our 4th Annual Halloween Party. Market vendors are planning Trick or Treat surprises between 9 AM and 12:30 PM. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
