Join the Railroad Museum of New England as they travel through the beautiful Naugatuck Valley, following the Naugatuck River on our historic, 1920s era passenger cars pulled by one of our vintage diesel locomotives. On this train ride you will experience breathtaking autumn views from the Thomaston Dam and ride alongside the Naugatuck River. Included in this ride is a stop at the RMNE’s very own Pumpkin Patch, where riders will be able to get off, and kids will be allowed to pick out their very own pumpkin.

*Please arrive at the station 30 minutes before your departure time. Trains leave at the scheduled times at 10 am, 12 noon and 2 pm. Click HERE for tickets, dates and specific times on the available dates.

Mother Nature’s annual fall masterpiece is being painted now and she’s expected to complete it soon. Climb aboard the train at the Rail Museum of New England and see for yourself what all the buzz is about. Temperatures this weekend will be in the mid-70’s making for a perfect weekend excursion through the colorful Connecticut countryside.
