Elizabeth Park Rose Gardens Greenhouse Photography Meetup

The Connecticut Shutterbug group will meetup at the Elizabeth Park Spring Greenhouse Show on Sunday, March 11th starting at 2 pm. We will then take in Happy Hour eats at Max’s Oyster Bar in West Hartford, Connecticut.
Please bring your camera and cell phone for lots of picture-taking opportunities.

The Elizabeth Park Spring Greenhouse Show features a spectacular array of spring bulbs and plants grown by Conservancy Horticulturist Rosemary Aldridge, Gardeners Peter Winne and Josh Kwasny, Park Gardener Vincent Boyce and many volunteers. The show will take place in the historic greenhouse in Elizabeth Park.
Included in the floral display are French hyacinths, muscari, tulips, daffodils, amaryllis, begonias, lemon geranium and Spanish oregano. The Conservancy will add additional plants for the sale from Geremia Greenhouse in Wallingford including hydrangeas, lilies, pansies, violas, hellebores, calla lilies and a few fun surprises on March 17th.
