Denali Run the Gauntlet

Join us for Connecticut’s only beach front obstacle race! The 6th Annual Run the Gauntlet 5k returns to Lighthouse Point Park on Sunday, October 22nd. The course will feature 15+ man-made and natural obstacles throughout the beach and trails of New Haven’s Lighthouse Point Park. After the race participants are invited to enjoy a post-race party featuring the Old World Pizza Trucks, Thimble Island Brewing Company, and live entertainment. Proceeds from Run the Gauntlet support the Denali Foundation Scholarship Fund for children attending Soundview Family YMCA Summer Camp.

At our post race party enjoy gourmet pizza, beer and live music. Old World Pizza Trucks will be on hand dishing out some of their signature pizza’s while the shoreline’s own Thimble Island Brewing Company will provide beer to quench your thirst. Dance to our live band and relax after conquering the Gauntlet. Pizza will be made available to spectators for an additional charge. While you are at the race participants and their families are invited to take complimentary rides on one of the country’s largest and oldest carousels!
