Corvair and VW Classic Car Show (Middlefield)

The annual Corvair and VW Classic Car Show will be held on August 18th at Lyman Orchards in Middlefield. The all-Corvair and air-cooled Volkswagen Car Show is presented by Connecticut C.O.R.S.A. & the Connecticut Volkswagen Association. Stay for the Lyman Orchard’s Peach Fest as and celebrate fresh grown, juicy peaches with a day of delicious family fun! There will be lots of great activities for the whole family, including Lyman’s delicious and juicy blueberries and raspberries, as well as sweet treats from the Apple Barrel. Live music, pony rides, kettle corn, face painting and much more.
In production from 1960-1969, Corvairs were the only American designed mass-produced passenger cars to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. This group of knowledgeable car enthusiasts return with a fabulous showing of classic models of Corvairs and VWs. Judging is by People’s Choice; prizes will be awarded for best in class and best in show.
The “All-Corvair” show is open to all stock and modified Corvair powered and bodied vehicles! CT VW Club will also be present.
