Bumpers & Books at the Groton Public Library

October 20 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

Bumpers & Books at the Groton Public Library

Join the Junior Friends of the Groton Public Library for Bumpers & Books, a festive twist on a traditional trunk-or-treat event. The Junior Friends and their families, as well as Library staff and town employees, will be on hand in the Library’s back parking lot to give out treats from the trunks of their decorated vehicles. The twist? All the vehicles will be decorated in author and book-related themes! From Olivia to The Babysitters Club, don’t miss this boo-ktacular event! There will be crafts and games and vendors too! A prize will be awarded to the best decorated trunk.

Bumpers n’ Books is free and open to the public. Children are encouraged to dress in book- or author-related costumes to add to the festivities. The rain date for the event is Saturday, October 27th from 11:00 AM–1:00 PM.

If you’re interested in decorating your vehicle for display or donating candy and treats, please contact Miss Kim at 860-441-6750 or sign up online
