The Westport Blues, Views and BBQ Festival will be held on September 1st and 2nd at the Levitt Pavilion in Westport, Connecticut. Headliners Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, Fantastic Negrito, Sister Sparrow and the Dirty Birds, Carolyn Wonderland and more!
Connecticut’s premier music festival is celebrating 11 years of delivering soulful, southern inspired food, music and family fun to the banks of the Saugatuck River in beautiful downtown Westport on the Imperial Lot (50 Imperial Ave) and the Levitt Pavilion.
A weekend experience that never disappoints sell out crowds, this signature end of summer event is set to deliver another stand out year. For more than a decade the festival has featured some of the best Blues, Funk and Rock performers around including: The Revivalists, The Funky Meters with Eric Krasno, The Spin Doctors, Anders Osborne and More!
This year Blues Views and BBQ will feature 20 bands, including headlining performances on our main stage from funk powerhouses Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe and Grammy Award Winner Fantastic Negrito. Blues, Views and BBQ has long been a venue for introducing up and coming and local talent along with our marquee headliners. In that same tradition, this year we welcome first time performers Carolyn Wonderland, Mingo Fishtrap, Cris Jacobs and Ruby Velle & Soulphonics.
Enjoy hours of family fun at the famous Imperial Jam with the bounce park, Touch a Truck, airbrush tattoos, pie and rib eating contests and our second stage showcasing local and family friendly musical entertainment all day long. Don’t miss the KCBS BBQ competition, and CTBites returns with cooking demos providing culinary inspiration. This year’s chef demonstration lineup includes Chef’s Jonas Daniela from Amis, Pietro Scotti from Da Pietros, Carlos Baez from The Spread and El Segundo, Jess Bengston from Terrain Garden Café and Adam Roytman from Bar Sugo. There will be plenty of food to satisfy every appetite.
With its all-star lineup, this rousing music and culinary destination has become the hottest way to spend the last lingering days of summer. We will also have a variety of food trucks serving everything from BBQ to Grilled Cheese to Lobster Rolls sch as Bobby Q’s, Melt Mobile, Boothbay Lobster Co., A&S Fine Foods, Trolley Dogs, The Belgian Bus and More! There will also be a variety of Craft Cocktails and premium Craft Beer from Tito’s, Knob Creek, Makers Mark, Bandit Wine & New Belgium Beer
