The Terryville Lions Club is proud to hold an annual Easter Egg Hunt for the those in our town. The event will be held Sunday March 22, 2015 at 1:00pm in the rear of Terryville High School. The rain date for this event is Sunday March 29, 2015. This event is for children up to the age of 10 years old or 5th grade. Make sure you bring your camera – the Easter Bunny will be at the Easter Egg Hunt!

Children will be given a map of Stew Leonard’s and a bag to collect eggs from costumed characters throughout the store, including Clover the Cow, Cynthia Chick, and Daphne Duck among others. Each egg contains prizes ranging from candy and board games to toys and gift cards. One lucky child will win the Egg Hunt’s top prize: a deluxe birthday party package at Monster Mini Golf of Danbury, valued at $250! This event is free to the community.

Join the team at Stew’s for a special Bunny Breakfast, hosted by none other than the Easter Bunny himself, on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. Stew Leonard’s chefs will offer a breakfast of fruit, bacon, sausage, eggs, hash browns, pancakes, juice and coffee. Each child will receive a Stewie the Duck book as well as Easter Coloring Activity sheets. Children are also welcome to take a photo with the Easter Bunny and Stew’s costumed characters. Reservations for the Bunny Breakfast must be made in advance at Customer Service. Attendees age 12 and older will be charged $9.99/each and children age 11 and younger will be charged $7.99/each.

Younger children hunt will begin at 7:00p.m. Older children hunt will begin at 7:15p.m

The event will be held at Doolittle Park Playscape. The event will be divided into two age groups children 1-5 and children 6-11. Plastic filled eggs, candy along with 9 special GOLD EGGS for each group will be spread throughout. Participants are asked to find only ONE Gold Egg. Once found you may redeem your prize for the golden egg at the table at Doolittle Park.

Please be considerate of age breakdown we want everyone to have an equal opportunity. Parents should be aware that if they have a young child and an older child two adults will be required to participate in both events. Parents are asked to bring a basket and a flashlight for their child.

There will be an egg hunt for 2 year olds at 6:15PM, an egg hunt for children ages 3-5 about 7PM, and a Flashlight Egg Hunt for children ages 6-12 after dusk, at about 7:45PM. Jack, the Spring Bunny will be visiting Salmon Brook Park as local organizations put together an egg-citing evening for children. Children from 2-12 can participate in egg hunts, face painting, bounce house activities, and get a picture with the Spring Bunny! This event is sponsored by the Granby Recreation Department, Granby Youth Services Bureau, and the Granby Early Childhood Council. The event is free, but the Salmon Brook Park Concession Stand will be open with burgers, hotdogs, snacks, and drinks for sale throughout the evening. All children participating in the hunts should bring their own basket or sack to collect the hidden eggs, older (ages 6-12) children will need to bring their own flashlight as well.

Our annual Bunny Breakfast at the Brooklyn Middle School. Brooklyn Recreation and the Danielson Lions Club will present this pancake breakfast. Breakfast will be served from 8am-10:30am. Tickets available in advance at The Brooklyn Parks & Recreation Office, the Brooklyn Recreation After School Program, or as space permits, at the door. Tickets are $5.00 per person, $20.00 for a family of 5. Activities will include face painting, family friendly entertainment, and a visit from the guest of honor, the Bunny!

Egg Hunt: Our annual Egg Hunt will take place outdoors at the middle school, weather permitting. Open to all Brooklyn children age 10 and under. Call the office for more info. Egg hunt is free of charge, bring your basket.

  4. The Annual Chatham Square Neighborhood Association CSNA Easter Egg hunt will be on Sat. April 4 at 1pm at Chatham Square Park in the historic Chatham Square Neighborhood of New Haven. The park is at the corner of Chatham Street and Clinton Avenue. We will have eggs to decorate, candy to eat, games to play, bunnies to color. This event is free and open to the public. The Easter Bunny has been known to make an appearance at this event, for photos with children, so parents bring your cameras in case s\he shows up. See you on the 4th of April.

  5. Meriden, CT Saturday April 4th – The hunts is over, there will be 5,000 Easter eggs falling from a helicopter. All children are invited to participate in this free event in Meriden, CT at Washington Park, 460 Liberty Street.
    Registration begins at 2:00 pm, and each child will be entered in a raffle for a chance to win a new bike. The event will begin at 2:30 pm. There will be refreshments and lots of excitement as children and parents await the big drop.

  6. Helicopter -Easter Egg Drop
    Bridgeport, CT – Saturday April 4th. The hunts is over, there will be 5,000 Easter eggs falling from a helicopter. All children are invited to participate in this free event in Bridgeport, CT at Seaside Park, 1 Barnum Dyke; at the pavilion.
    The event will begin at 9:30 am, and during registration each child will be entered in a raffle for a chance to win a new bike. There will be refreshments and lots of excitement as children and parents await the big drop.
